The inspiration for this drawing came from my own past and present. From struggles with depression to the ongoing onslaught against the environment here in Utah and the US in general. While the arrows symbolize the constant blows and injury, the flowers are the beauty that still exists. A reminder of the resilience of nature and to tighten our grip on the good. I’m glad this piece resonated with so many people. I hope whatever you are up against, you can keep holding on.
