Coyotes are the “song dogs” of the desert. I’ve spent many a night listening to their yips and barks off in the distance, and sometimes not so distant. While coyotes can live on their own, in a mated pair, or as part of a pack, their vocalizations do not organize hunts or celebrate kills. Maybe it’s just chit chat around camp and recalling the days/nights’ events.
